The relevant amount will be added to your basket when you check out in paypal and includes vat.

Despatch

Orders are dispatched on Wednesdays and Thursdays by next day courier service (so you will receive your parcel on Thursday or Friday, between 8.00am and 6.00pm, depending on when you place your order. If you have a preferred day then please state this on the box in paypal when you check out).

All cheeses are wrapped in ice packs and are insulated within cardboard boxes.

Someone must be available to sign for the goods on delivery.
If this is a problem why not have your delivery sent to a neighbour, relative,  friend or your place of work. If you are sending cheese as a gift then please ensure that there will be someone available to accept the delivery.

December is a very busy period for The Cheese Place; please order well in advance to avoid disappointment.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement between The Cheese Place and you The Customer

You must accept without modification these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms & conditions in their entirety, you must not purchase from The Cheese Place.By accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Changes To Terms And Conditions

The Cheese Place may wish to update or change the terms and conditions from time to time with regard to, changes in the law, or for other good reason. You understand that The Cheese Place reserves the right to make these changes and that you are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.

3. Cancellation Of Orders

If your payment method does not clear, The Cheese Place shall have no further obligations to you the customer.Cancellation of your order can only be made prior to The Cheese Place despatching goods; due to the perishable nature of the goods we regret that cancellation is not possible after despatch.

4. Delivery

We despatch orders on Wednesday and Thursday.You the customer must be available between the hours 8am and 6 pm to take delivery. We cannot take responsibility for goods left and not signed for.Whilst every effort is made to deliver on the agreed date The Cheese Place cannot be held responsible if this fails to happen. Please order in good time to avoid disappointment.Please ensure your delivery address is correct The Cheese Place cannot be held responsible for non delivery due to wrong addresses.If there is nobody available to take delivery of the goods The Cheese Place cannot be held responsible for the condition of the goods.
We advise that all cheeses are refrigerated upon receipt.

5. Defective Goods

You the customer must inform The Cheese Place within 24 hours of delivery; all goods must be returned or made available for inspection before a credit can be issued.

6. Prices

The Cheese Place reserves the right to change the price at any time; if this situation should arise you will be informed first and have the right to cancel the order should this not be acceptable.

7. Payment

Payment will be taken through paypal when you place your order.

8. VAT

VAT is not applicable to food items and is only charged on Delivery, VAT is included in the delivery charges shown.VAT Number 897856338

9. Product Substitution

If the goods you have ordered are not available we will e mail you with a suggested substitution, if this situation should arise you have the right to cancel the order should this not be acceptable. We will not despatch the order until we have received your confirmation agreeing to this.

10. Website Content

Whilst every effort is taken to keep things as accurate as possible The Cheese Place cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies contained within this website.
The photographs shown are only representational and are not always accurate, all you are purchasing are the items described not props shown in the photographs.

11. Data Protection

By purchasing from The Cheese Place you the customer agree to The Cheese Place collecting data and information for the service of processing your order, monitoring our website performance and advertising purposes. If you do not wish to receive mailings please let us know and we will remove you from our mailing list.

The Cheese Place or any of our employees will not forward your data to any other companies. However you will allow The Cheese Place to provide data to Government or Regulatory bodies in order to comply with any Laws or Regulations. If any data held is incorrect we will modify data at your request.

12. Fraud

Credit card fraud is a crime, any fraudulent transactions will result in prosecution.
All card information must match those of the issuing bank, submitting false information is fraud and will result in prosecution.

13. Law

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

14. Indemnity

You will indemnify, defend and hold us, and our employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms by you or any other liability arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your account and/or the information you provided upon registration.
