At The Cheese Place we can put together a selection of cheeses to form a spectacular cake which is a contemporary alternative to the more traditional fruit cake at parties and celebrations. Here are some we have done recently:
The cake is made to each customer's requirements and we design it according to:
- your taste in cheese
- your budget
- the number of guests
We look for contrasts in taste, texture, colour and of course size so that the finished cake looks stunning. It can be decorated with fresh or dried fruits, nuts, dried flowers and ribbons.
Our speciality cake is ‘The Yorkshire’ which combines Hawes Wensleydale with a hand made fruitcake – a combination that is very traditional and gives you the best of both worlds!!
You can select from two options:
OPTION 1 – Cheese Only
Purchase cheese only and collect it from us. (You will need to arrange and decorate it yourself or ask your florist/caterer to help). We provide labels describing the cheeses.
OPTION 2 – Full Service
Purchase cheese, complimentary chutneys/biscuits, stand and fruit/floral decorations. We will deliver the cheese to your venue (within 20 miles of
We provide customised labels describing the cheeses and these can be tailored as messages from the bride and groom.
This package can include hire or purchase of a cheese wire, cheese knives and presentation boards.
